Mike Jurken: I love being an entrepreneur, my own boss, I think that's definitely something I will always want to be.

Troy Vosseller: The number one trait that I point to is curiosity, you know, if I'm ever working with someone on a new project or something, I want that person to have an instinctual curiosity that's just part of their drive.
Emily White: Sconnie nation started out by selling teachers on the floor of a dorm. In a few short years, it turned in to what you see behind me, reaching customers on a national level.
The Weinert Center at the Wisconsin School of Business is just one option for students interested in starting their own company, but young entrepreneurs don't necessarily have to go through that program.
Troy Vosseller: There's nothing necessary from a business-school perspective that you need to learn in order to be successful, but i always think you can learn those skills later on in life.
Running your own business, going to class and joining extracurriculars can be difficult, but not impossible. Mike Jurken said the added stress on top of classes and his other activities, was well worth it.
Mike Jurken: It was tough, but there was no better time to do it. I wouldn't have done it any other way. I think I'm a better business owner because of it.
