Majic Enterprises began in 1999 when a 12-year-old Mike Jurken realized that his passion for music and technology could actually be transformed into a business model.  Jurken’s vision for DJ Majic quickly became an entrepreneurial gem.  DJ Majic began taking over the market as Milwaukee’s premier mobile disk jockey service, not only gaining popularity among students, but also school administrators. Majic was one of the first companies in Milwaukee having a music video dance package, a feature that still remains extremely popular.  Excited by DJ Majic’s success, Jurken and his high school friends began to brainstorm ways to take DJ Majic to the next level.

Production Majic was created in 2005, becoming another branch of Majic Enterprises. Through the rental of sound systems and projection services at local high school and churches, Majic Enterprises began the next phase of its business growth. Jurken’s business slowly grew out of his garage into a Brookfield Industrial park, with a fulltime staff of technicians and production managers.

Majic Enterprises is still the parent company to DJ Majic and Production Majic.  Since its creation, Majic Enterprises has also added a talent management branch, Majic Management, and an artist and concert review site, ReviewAConcert.com, the world’s largest music review website.

Despite the growth of Majic Enterprises, DJ Majic continues to be a leader in mobile disc jockey services for events such as school dances and formals, private parties, and weddings. Production Majic has slowly become a staple in the production industry, with affordable and excellent services for benefit auctions and galas, portable sound systems, LED up lighting, video projection, as well as professional concert sound and production services.
